Russian as a Second Language
Study Russian in Russia, Ukraine, or Kyrgyzstan


Russian as a Second Language (RSL) program packages are designed for flexibility to suit almost any need or interest. Study for a week or a year. Choose the bustling streets of Moscow or the rugged hills of Kyrgyzstan. Take advanced courses or start with the basics. Home Stays and TORFL Testing are optionally available. SRAS also has a range of programs that offer RSL with other subject courses. With SRAS, it's all up to you.


Security and Society Summer School - Warsaw, Poland

We have an exciting summer lined up in Warsaw. The enthusiastic faculty at our host institution, Collegium Civitas, await the arrival of an impressive group of students planning to discuss some of the most pertinent questions in security and society today. Coursework is aimed at upperclassmen and graduate students. Recent graduates and professionals are also welcome.


Particular for your students of Russian, these courses are a great resume-builder.

ASU CLI Summer Language Study - Funding Available

The Critical Languages Institute at Arizona State University's Melikian Center is still enrolling for the 2018 summer semester, in selected languages. We are proud to offer a tuition-free program, regardless of residency. Students pay a flat fee of $1,500 for 4-13 semester credits, plus study-abroad fees if they opt to join an overseas program. We have programs in the U.S., overseas, or in "combination" courses that include both U.S. and overseas components.


We still have select scholarships available for Albanian, Armenian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Uzbek.

Online Summer Intensive Russian at UA

Two completely Online Russian intensive language courses will be offered this summer through the University of Arizona. Each course is worth 4.0 credits, and can be taken as an equivalent to 2 entire semesters of Russian.

Led by respected Russian and American scholars, these expeditions provide an up-close introduction to village and rural life, as well as instruction and practice in fieldwork techniques.
