This year's theme is "Problem-Solving: Classroom, Community, and the World" and the objective is to link curriculum that addresses global issues (e.g., world conflicts, human rights, climate change, food security) and problem-solving strategies applicable within schools and neighborhoods.  
Keynote Speakers:

Karen Robinson, Senior Education Manager for the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights Education Project, Speak Truth to Power.

Emily Pilloton, Founder and Executive Director of Project H, an education non-profit that uses design to empower youth and transform communities.
