"When Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from disturbing dreams, he found himself transformed..." Into what sort of thing was Gregor transformed? Why? How did his family and the world react to this transformation? Some very few responses are presented from the enormous body of scholarship and artistic vizualizations that in the past 100 years, have made this story a gem of world literature.
