Welcome to K-12 Outreach at the Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies
While CEERES serves as a resource for anyone interested in our vast and diverse region of the world, we place special importance on reaching into the community and introducing our K-12 teachers, students, and their families to the languages and cultures of the CEERES region. CEERES regularly organizes teacher training workshops, sends speakers into local classrooms, and invites students to cultural events on campus to foster the delivery of international content in K-12 classrooms and curricula. This website is intended to address a variety of needs and contains a diverse array of materials aimed at adding more international content into the K-12 curriculum, extra-curricular programming, and providing information about professional development opportunities for educators.
