Open-Rank Position in Russian Literature, UCLA

The UCLA Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures invites applications for an open-rank position (tenure-track or with tenure) in Russian literature, with the hire date of July 1, 2018. We are looking for applicants with Ph.D. in hand at the time of appointment, possessing native or near-native fluency in Russian and English.

Issues represented in the work of Alberto Aguilar, Robert Burnier, Lily Dithrich, Victoria Fuller, Alyssa Miserendino and Alison Ruttan deal with what constitutes a home, and how homes reflect our selves, outwardly and psychologically.

Part Time Lecturer in Russian at Rutgers University

The Program of Russian and East European Languages and Literatures at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick campus) is looking for a part-time instructor to teach one section of Elementary Russian 1 in Fall 2017. We would especially like to hear from candidates in the New York-Philadelphia corridor, who would have the easiest commute to Rutgers-New Brunswick. The successful candidate must be able and willing to collaborate with other instructors on all aspects of course management.
