On 23–24 October 2019, the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow) organizes a conference on “Caucasian Languages: Typology and Diachrony”, in honor of the eminent Russian Caucasiologist Mikhail Egorovich Alekseev, who would have turned 70 this year. In line with the scientific interests of M.E. Alekseev, topics of the conference include typological and historical comparative studies of Caucasian languages, and sociolinguistic and cross-cultural aspects of the languages of the Caucasus.

ACTFL 4-Day OPI Assessment Workshop in Russian at UW-Madison, June 3-6, 2019

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Language Institute, Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institutes, and the Russian Flagship Program are pleased to host a 2019 ACFL Proficiency and Performance Summer Institute on the UW-Madison campus. The institute will include a dedicated 4-day ACTFL OPI Assessment Workshop in Russian.

 

The dates of the OPI-Russian workshop are June 3-6; the deadline to register with ACTFL is May 3.
