Direct from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, World Touring presents the National Dance Company of Siberia in their new program, "My Siberia", directed by Vladimir Moiseyev. Performances will take place nationwide from October 1st through November 20th. The tour will take the company from Utah to the northeast, then down to the Sunshine State of Florida, and back to the West Coast.

Opportunities to take language courses from CIC universities

Through the CourseShare Program, University of Chicago students can enroll in language programs—that are not offered on campus—through other CIC institutions (which include fourteen Big Ten schools).  These courses combine in-person and remote students via Skype. U of Chicago faculty will be offerning languages from East Europe, Russia, and Eurasia that include Armenian, Kazakh, Polish, Turkish, and Uzbek.  Course offerings from other CIC institutions include Czech, Romanian, Estonian, Hungarian, Kurdish, Mongolian, Tatar, Turkish-Azeri, Ukrainian, and Uyghur.

ASEEES Awards for First-Time Publishers

In 2014, the ASEEES Board of Directors voted to dedicate $10,000 per year from the Association's endowment dividends for subvention of books by first-time authors who have already secured publishing contracts. Multiple awards of up to $2,500 will be made on a competitive basis each year, with funds paid directly to the press.
