CEERES of Voices Returns this Fall

In January 2017 CEERES and the Seminary Co-op Bookstore decided to formalize our partnership and we created A CEERES of Voices, an author-centered series of readings and conversations on books from or about Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Eurasia, and the Caucasus. If you missed any of last year's event you can watch interviews with the authors here. We are excited that this series will contiune this year and that we can now annouce the events schedule for this Fall:

  • Tuesday, October 17: Bradford Morrow - "The Prague Sonata" - Esther Peters (Please note that this event will take place at 57th Street Books)
  • Wednesday, October 25: Masha Gessen - "The Future is History: How Totalitarianism Reclaimed Russia" - Konstantin Sonin
  • Friday, November 10: Julia Alekseyeva - "Soviet Daughter: A Graphic Revolution" - Hillary Chute

Keep an eye out for updates on events to come in Winter and Spring!
