The Second Annual Chicago Turkish Film Festival: The Faces of Recent Turkish Cinema

From September 6 through 28, the Gene Siskel Film Center, in partnership with the Chicago Turkish Film Committee, presents The Faces of Recent Turkish Cinema, a series of four films sampling recent trends in one of the world’s most vital national cinemas.

All films are in Turkish with English subtitles and will be shown at the Gene Siskel Film Center (164 N State St., Red Line stop: Lake), at the heart of downtown Chicago. The film series is made possible through the generosity of its partners-the Gene Siskel Film Center and the primary sponsor the Turkish Cultural Foundation. The organizers would also like to extend special thanks to Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Consulate General of Turkey in Chicago.

Gene Siskel has a special student rate of $7 per movie ticket with a valid student ID. General admission is $11.
