Summer Programs online at the School of Russian and Asian Studies

SRAS is offering a range of online study opportunities this summer. The following are still open for applications:

Ukrainian for Russian Learners (limited spaces left!)
This is a two-week/10-hour online course we have developed with our partners in Kyiv, Novamova Language School. Anyone who already speaks intermediate or advanced Russian, including students and educators, is more than welcome to enroll. We will build Russian skills while teaching basic Ukrainian and introducing Ukrainian culture.  This course starts June 15. Class size is limited to 6, but sections have been added. There are a few spots left now in what will run as 4 groups this session. We may offer this same level and/or a “next step” level in July.

Russian language study at all levels (rolling applications)
Kyiv Online: standard options for 4 or 15 hours per week
Bishkek Online: standard options for 3 or 12 hours per week

Online Summer School “Security and Society in the Information Age” (deadline June 20)
The interactive, online Summer School “Security and Society in the Information Age” at Collegium Civitas will be held between July 13 and August 24. The Summer School course, combined with a research internship offers a broad overview of the security challenges faced by the countries of Central Europe and also by NATO and the European Union in the XXI century. Many of your students are majoring in International Relations – pass this great resume enhancer along to them!
