The Russian-Speaking Student Association at UChicago (RUSA) is hosting an evening lecture with Dr Konstantin Sonin. The lecture will take place on October 5th, at 6:15 pm in Harper 140 and will be held in Russian, The lecture is titled "Сценарии Русского Будущего".

The Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, the Shulamit Ran and Abraham Lotan Visiting Distinguished Artists Fund, and the Joyce Z. and Jacob Greenberg Center for Jewish Studies are proud to present Exit Wounds & Other Stories: A Selection of Works by Rutu Modan on view in the Café Logan, 915 E 60th.

This exhibit presents Modan's work across different genres, including her graphic novels, children's book illustrations, and comics. Modan selected the works in conjunction with a planned visit to the University of Chicago, sponsored by the Shulamit Ran and Abraham Lotan Visiting Distinguished Artists Fund. Modan will present a public talk and teach a workshop for students on Visual Storytelling.

The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art is seeking an individual that would be able to take on a development role within our organization. We’re looking for an individual with strong communication and organization skills. Grant writing experience is a must, nonprofit development and fundraising experience is a huge plus. We’re looking for self-motivated individuals that want to learn more about the multi-faceted world of museum and nonprofit sustainability and growth. This role heavily intertwines with our mission of bridging cultural gaps and empowering cultural understanding through art and its various mediums.
