CFP: The Slavic Reference Service (SRS) 2nd Annual Caucasus Research Forum March 30-31st "People and Environment"

The Slavic Reference Service (SRS) at the University of Illinois is inviting proposals for the second annual Caucasus Research Forum, taking place on March 30-31st. This forum is part of a series of virtual, interdisciplinary research forums that seek to unite multidisciplinary scholars, librarians and archivists, students, and policy researchers. We encourage participants to submit an abstract for a 15-minute presentation about their ongoing or completed research. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where researchers may receive feedback from a variety of perspectives. Early career scholars and students are especially encouraged to submit a proposal.

The theme for this year’s forum is People and Environment. Subthemes include traditional ecological knowledge, environmental protection and policy, climate change, nature and literature, environmental history, and environment and ethnology. Those interested in presenting or attending may sign up through the registration link below. We hope that you will consider participating! We ask that presenters submit their abstract by March 3, 2023.
