First-year Russian Online This Summer At UT Austin

The University of Texas at Austin Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) with the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies is offering first-year Russian online this summer through our extension campus.

The classes are intensive and mostly asynchronous, however we do meet synchronously in Zoom MWF for an hour each meeting. Additionally, students are assigned many conversation and group projects outside of the synchronous meetings for speaking practice and the opportunity to work with their peers.

RUS 406 will be offered the first summer session (5 weeks) June 3 - July 10*

RUS 407 will be offered the second summer session (5 weeks) July 12 - August 16*

 *Indicates final exam dates

Both classes are offered at a flat-rate and are open to everyone. Anyone may enroll and there is no out-of-state tuition. Students and non-students, alike, are welcome! Transferable university (UT) credit is given.

Sign up through University Extension.
