Visiting Assistant Professor - Russian Area Studies

The Russian Department at Lawrence University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in Russian Area Studies beginning fall semester 2022. Ph.D. required in Slavic Languages and Literatures with experience teaching Russian at the college level, or a Ph.D. in a related field with a certificate in Russian-language teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per term in topics such as Russian language, literature, and cultural history. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to teach in Lawrence’s First-Year Studies Program.
