Anne Eakin Moss

Anne Eakin Moss is Assistant Professor in Russian literature and cinema for the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures at the University of Chicago. She focuses on the classic Russian novel through the modern period, with particular interests in Russian realism, Modernist prose, revolutionary culture, and socialist realism. She is above all interested in how works of art engage their audiences and the forms of community created by that engagement both as historical experience and theoretical aspiration.
